A “55 Alive” driving course for older drivers will be held at the Monongahela Valley Hospital campus on Monday, July 15 from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm in the Anthony M. Lombardi Education Conference Center (ECC).
This is the nation's first and largest classroom driver improvement course specially designed for motorists age 50 and older. It is intended to help improve skills while teaching accident and traffic violation avoidance. Some insurance companies offer discounts for course completion. All information is conveyed in a classroom setting in one half-day session. The cost is $12 per person for AARP members and $14 for non-members. Pre-registration is required, call 724-258-1333.
