The Clairton Area AARP #1612 will hold their annual summer picnic on Wednesday, July 24 at Clairton Park Lodge, Pavilion #1.
Lunch will be catered by D & D Foods at a cost of $12 per person. Make a reservation by calling Mary at 412-751-6645. Fun and games will include a summer basket raffle, a 50/50, bingo, door prizes, and lots of good food.
There is no meeting in August, but a bus trip is planned to the Laurel Highlands to tour the Flight 93 National Memorial and the Quecreek Mine Rescue site. A pre-dinner wine tasting is followed with a home-cooked meal. The evening continues with an upbeat Country Music Show. If interested, call Marjorie at 724- 872-1165.
