Monessen Center for Active Adults, 1925 Grand Blvd., Monessen, can be reached at 724-684-6501. Listed below are their December activities:

1      Snowman Coffee & Canvas, 6-8 p.m.

6      Bring a Friend. Share your Center with your friends.

7      Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day

8      National Brownie Day - brownies with lunch!

12    National Poinsettia Day - the center will be decorated. Donations are welcomed.

12    Jubilee Singing Dove for Love, 11 a.m.

13    Christmas Lunch and Entertainment with the Jerry B. Band. $5. Get your tickets early.

15    NovaCare Rehab, 10:30 a.m. Wellness education.

16    National Ugly Holiday Sweater Day. We will vote on the ugliest sweater for a prize.

20    National Games Day. Every table will be playing different games. Bring in a board game from home!

21    First day of winter. Share your stories of about how you survived a snow-in!

22    Good News Day. Come share your excitement and plans for the holiday.

26    CENTER CLOSED - official day for Christmas.

28    National Card Playing Day. 1 p.m. card games will begin. Card club will be in full swing. Come play!  

29    National Tick Tock Day. Tick Tock Day puts the pressure on you to cram in some last-minute work before the end of the year to achieve your goals!  We will write down our 2017 resolutions.

8-10 a.m. - Walk the track at 8 a.m. - then coffee/discussion; 10-11 a.m. - Wii/cards, etc.; 11 a.m. - noon - Bible study; noon -12:45 p.m. - lunch; 12:45 – 3 p.m. - cards

Thursday
