Students at Thomas Jefferson High School currently enrolled in Spanish III are writing a children’s story in Spanish as the culmination of their unit on using the two past tenses in the Spanish language.

Crowning

 

St Sebatian May Crowning

The students at St. Sebastian Regional School held a Crowning of Mary on May 4, with representatives from each grade presenting flowers to the Blessed Mary on the altar, the eighth grade girls crowning our mother on earth, and the second graders, many who recently celebrated their first communion, gathering at the altar. The mass was celebrated by Rev. Michael Crookston.

The Peters Township School District and Peters Township Federation of Teachers (PTFT) have reached an agreement and a new contract has been approved by both the PTFT and the Board of School Directors in meetings that took place May 16.

Old Trails Business and Professional Women's Club held their May meeting at King's in Bentleyville. After the speaker, Adele Selinger, gave a very interesting talk on hats and shared her large collection, the Students of the Month were honored.
