STEAM, which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics, is an initiative that has become very popular within schools all over the United States.
Using a K'Nex set that was purchased via the Verizon Wireless grant, Jason was able to explore his design and engineering skills to create a working roller coaster. He acted as an architect, followed a blueprint and slowly created this masterpiece that was presented to his family and friends at the ReMake Learning event held on May 11, 2016.
He was able to talk to his classmates about mass, motion, energy and force. Jason spent a great deal of time slowly and meticulously creating this project and it was definitely worth the wait!
