During the month of April, Mrs. Hecker's 2nd grade class worked with Ms. Siegert on Character Education lessons on being a good citizen and helping the community.

Activities included going outside to pull weeds and plant flowers in the flower beds outside of the Elementary School entrance. This also involved Mrs. Hecker's science lesson on plants. Students did taste testing, planted radishes, and partnered up to learn different parts of the plants. Pictured are Mrs. Hecker and her classroom working outside the elementary entrance.
