On Tuesday, April 12 the middle school students at St. Sebastian Regional School had the opportunity to personally explore careers as they met in small groups with blue- and white-collar professionals, including engineers, a speech/language pathologist, a faith formation director, and even an attorney.
Amanda Como, attorney, meets with student Alexi Olup, and Mary Popovich, West Newton mayor, meets with Joshua Kurian before the career fair. |
The students created questions specific to the jobs, researched potential job growth and salaries, and completed a scavenger hunt for tools and technology used by the presenters.
