On November 4th, music teachers from the Elizabeth Forward School District collaborated together to bring their 2nd annual concert to the public. The recital was to help fund the music scholarship program within the district.

Music teachers participating included Chris Thomas, Margret Dennis, Mark Maurer, Steve Spang, Lisa Spang, Kristy Ochs, Ben Cook, and Angie Milliren.

The admission to this event was free, but donations were accepted. Last year, this event brought in $1,500, enough to fund three scholarships. This year, the event raised $875, but the district is still expecting donations from each of the school buildings.

The concert included songs from pop, rock, jazz, classical, and other musical genres. While no students were musically involved with the recital, students from the Tri-M Music Honor Society helped in the production of the concert.
