The WPIAL Sportsmanship Committee has selected five member schools for 2014-15 sportsmanship awards.
The schools are: Peters Twp. High School, Seneca Valley High School, South Park High School, South Fayette High School, and West Allegheny High School.
Each of the schools promoted and demonstrated the elements of good sportsmanship during the 2014-15 school year during the fall, winter and spring sports seasons. Representatives from the schools will be honored at the WPIAL Sportsmanship Summit at the Pittsburgh Regional History Center on November 12, 2015.
Since the league launched the program titled ”Sportsmanship: The Only Missing Piece is You,” 59 member schools have been selected for WPIAL Sportsmanship Awards.
