On September 15, the Monessen/Rostraver Rotary recognized four Monessen students for their academic and extracurricular activities.

Seniors Alec Tesznar and Shelby Minardi and 8th graders Haley Galante and Cameron Frolo attended the group’s weekly meeting to accept their certificates and pens. Following a presentation from Rotarian Phillip Sparacella, who is executive director of the United Way of Mon Valley, each student took a few minutes to introduce themselves to the membership.
