Once again this year, New Hope Church set up two booths around Elizabeth Township and one booth in Elizabeth Borough on Saturday, August 15th.

While each location had small differences, they all strived to provide kids from kindergarten through 6th grade with a backpack of their choice and some school supplies such as pencils, erasers, a folder, and crayons, markers, and colored pencils.
This is their 2nd year hosting the backpack giveaway and they say they hope to continue the event. They also had refreshments, and prizes, and a bounce house for the kids to enjoy.
In addition to the backpack giveaway, New Hope Church also hosts an annual Easter egg hunt and various smaller kid-friendly events throughout the year.
