Lyssa Lynn Current has been selected as the February Girl of the Month by the Charthene Club.

Lyssa is a senior honor student at Charleroi Area High School. She serves as president of the art club, and photographer and editor of the yearbook club. Lyssa designed the Starter Banner for Relay for Life and has participated in the event each year. She supports the Walk for Autism. She is involved in the Center in the Woods Daycare Festival. Lyssa does community freelancing for Charleroi Middle and High School clubs/activities and t-shirt and poster design/production.
Her awards include scholastic arts awards – the American Visionary Award, four Gold Keys,and one Silver Key; she has published two watercolor pieces in the October edition of "The Chaffee Review'' and published a painting in the first issue of "Go!"magazine.
Lyssa is the daughter of Mark and Maria Current. Her future plans include attending Temple University's Tyler School of Art with a double major of art history and fine arts.

Ashley Trinder has been selected as the March Girl of the Month by the Charthene Club.
Ashley is a senior honor student at Charleroi Area High School. She is the drum major for the Charleroi High Marching Band. She is also the vice president of the S.T.E.M. Club and belongs to the chemistry club and drama club, as well.
Ashley has accrued 22 hours as a volunteen at Mon Valley Hospital. She serves as a district peer tutor and has actively participated in a Boy Scout Eagle project.
Ashley is the daughter of Brian and Lori Trinder. Her future plans include attending Slippery Rock University in the fall, majoring in biology with a minor in women's studies.
