The Ringgold Elementary School South (RESS) fifth grade students celebrated Veterans Day with a musical performance that celebrated our nation of diversity where "all people are appreciated for the unique individuals they are." That was the basic theme of the performance, which highlighted all of our ethnic origins by remembering all who came to America searching for a better way of life.

It was obvious that the fifth graders, teachers and parents/guardians worked hard on this performance. The kids' costumes, singing and dancing were sensational, and the performance was enjoyed by all especially the veterans who were guests of honor.
There were musical songs and dances that originated all over this world and were brought to America. The program closed with several patriotic numbers and a slide presentation specifically to honor the veterans who attended.
