The Rotary Club of Monongahela recently recognized two Ringgold High School seniors, Hunter Curry and Taylor Pust, as Students of the Month for October. Students are selected based upon excellence in any one or more of the following areas: academic, athletics, arts, or community service.
Hunter Curry |
Hunter Curry of Monongahela is the son of Mark and Betsy Curry. He has served as Students Against Drunk Driving president, The Future is Mine president, Relay for Life captain, Interact treasurer, and Senior Class treasurer. His favorite high school memory was planning school dances. After high school, Hunter intends to study biomedical engineering at the University of Pittsburgh.
Taylor Pust |
Taylor Pust of Monongahela is the daughter of Dale and Renee Pust. She is Senior Class president, Interact president, and is also active in The Future is Mine, Cross Country Track, Relay for Life, cheerleading, Foreign Language Club, and the Science Olympiad. Her favorite high school memory was attending a pep rally and singing Ringgold’s alma mater. After high school, Taylor intends to study biology on a pre-medical track, but has not yet decided on a college.
