School News

All of the elementary schools in the West Jefferson Hills School District celebrated Red Ribbon Week.

WJHred
Officer Perella of the Jefferson Hills Police Department visited Mrs. Pearson’s 5th grade classroom at Gill Hall Elementary to talk about the dangers of drugs and alcohol.

Red Ribbon Week is one of the largest and oldest drug prevention campaigns in the country, and one of the most effective ways for preventing drug use among our youth. Each day of the week was filled with different themes, activities and guest speakers at all the elementary schools to reinforce the theme of: “I am Drug Free. I can be anything I want to be!”
