In a collaboration with the Heinz Foundation and Dr. Darryl Baynes, Clairton City School District provided a Summer Interactive Camp.

The camp was for grades 3-9 and ran for one week; it focused on strengthening science concepts and skills through hands-on experiments and activities. Each day had a theme. The Heinz Endowments supports efforts to make southwestern Pennsylvania a premier place to live and work, a center for learning and educational excellence, and a region that embraces diversity and inclusion.
