South Hills Assembly of God Church, 2725 Bethel Church Road, Bethel Park plans the following events for November. For more information, call 412-835-8900 or visit www.southhillsassembly.org.

All You Can Eat Pancake & Sausage Breakfast will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, November 16. Adults $8; children (10 & under) $2.50; family (children 10 & under) $20. Discounted tickets are available in advance at the church.

"Capture My Heart...Again," a women's ministry event, will be held from 7 - 9 p.m. Friday, November 21 with a night of worship, communion and testimonies led by Marge Kubany. Childcare available by reservation only.

If you or someone you know will be spending Thanksgiving alone, please accept our invitation to dine with us from noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 27. Registration is required at ext. 180.

Compassion Connection is again collecting new toys for their annual Toy Treasures program to bless children of area needy families. Toys may be dropped off in the lobby of the church or Hillcrest Christian Academy, as well as various locations around the area. A pseudo store will be set up where registered parents can "shop" for presents for their children at 10% of the item's retail value. Although this is a departure from the usual toy give-aways done by many at Christmas, we believe this method affirms a parent's dignity and worth. Cash contributions are also accepted and will be used to purchase toys to supplement those donated. For an invitation to "shop" please call to register for the program.
