Windover Hills UMC, located right across from Sunny Slopes at 6751 Ridge Road in South Park, announces the following upcoming programs.
Worship Times:
Starting September 8 worship will be on Saturday evenings at 6 p.m. and Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Christian Education:
Sunday School will begin for preschoolers on up on Sunday, September 8. This year for preschoolers through seventh grade we are starting a rotation based gathering where kids will learn through different stations. Each week they will visit one station that will be either art, cooking, story, science, computers, movie, or games. For a six week period they will deal with one subject matter. We are starting off with Jesus in Jerusalem. Eighth graders up to twelfth grade will be in their own life preparation class taught by Pastor Jude. There are three adult Sunday school classes which include a combined adult studies class, a women's upper room class, and a young adult class. Sunday School begins at 9:45 a.m. and ends at 10:45 a.m.
There are many other activities going on at Windover Hills UMC. There are monthly men's, women's and senior's fellowship groups, there is a twice a month meeting of our kid's ministry, "Windy Kids", and our youth group will be meeting on Sunday evenings.
