Kingdom Rock VBS at Bible Fellowship Community Church
Come join us each night at Bible Fellowship Community Church this summer July 22 - 26 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm for VBS “Kingdom Rock - Where Kids Stand Strong for God”. At Vacation Bible School this year children will learn to stand strong in God’s power with help from: God’s Love, Family and Friends, Prayer, Trusting God, and the Bible.
VBS will help kids discover God’s Word in a fun and unforgettable way. Each night there is a single Bible Point that is reinforced with a Bible verse and Bible story that makes it super easy to remember & learn. We’ll be worshiping in song, making super crafts, having yummy snacks and playing fun games and also have a few special surprises along the way.
Pre K - 5th grade friends; plan now on joining us for a great week of VBS. We are located at 220 Atomic Way in West Newton. To register and/or for more information, please call the church office at 724-872-5150.
Praise & Worship in the Park 2013
The sounds of praise and music will once again echo through Chess Park in Monongahela when that community celebrates with the 8th annual “Praise and Worship in the Park,” on Saturday, August 10 beginning at 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m. A number of area churches, ministries and non-profit organizations will join together for this day of praise, music, and fellowship. A variety of activities are planned, including all-day musical performances, children activities, and food and informational booths.
Musicians scheduled to appear, beginning at Noon, include but not limited to: Journey by Grace Praise Band, , Shepherds Voice, 1st Christian Church Praise team,. JD Davenport. and 70x7. Special guest headliner for the night "The Barbers "will take the stage at 7:30 p.m.
Kolt and Christy Cornell -Barber were recently married to form a new ministry team that has God as their main source of inspiration. The "Barbers" desire nothing more than to serve God and bring His salvation and healing to a dying world. They make their home near Nashville, TN.
This year, again there will be a free concert for area youth on Friday, August 9 at 6:00 in Chess Park. “Satellites & Sirens” will be performing. Sponsored by "Go Time Ministries". Refreshments and giveaways will be provided.

Spaghetti Dinner Set at Calvary United Presbyterian Church
Calvary United Presbyterian Church, located at 8th and Thompson Avenues in Donora announces a spaghetti dinner scheduled for Friday, July 19 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. Dinner price is just $8 for adults and $4 for children. Eat in or take out is available. (All take outs will be $8). For more information, call 724-379-8285.
Gospel Alliance Church Vacation Bible School
Gospel Alliance Church invites you to bring your children, ages 3 - 6th grade, to our annual Vacation Bible School, Monday July 15 – Friday July 19 from 9:00am until 12:00 noon.
