Crossroads Ministries in Finleyville will serve as a local drop-off site for this year’s ‘Operation Christmas Child’ shoebox distribution project.

Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse, has collected shoeboxes filled with gifts for children ranging in age from 2 to 14 for the past 25 years. The shoeboxes are delivered to children in need in the United States and around the world.
Last year churches in Southwestern Pennsylvania collected 17,822 shoeboxes. Just over 11 million children received these gifts worldwide. National Collection Week for this year is November 12 - 19. Collection hours at Crossroads Ministries are:
- Monday, Nov. 12 – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m.
- Tuesday, Nov. 13 – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Wednesday, Nov. 14 – 6 to 8 p.m.
- Thursday, Nov. 15 – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Friday, Nov. 16 – 5 to 7 p.m.
- Saturday, Nov. 17 – 5 to 7 p.m.
- Sunday, Nov. 18 – 12 noon to 2 p.m.
