First Church of God, 157 N. Second St., West Newton, has the following events planned:

- Bible study at WN Senior Center Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m.
- Bible Study at the church on Thursdays 7 p.m.

Lasagna Dinner Fundraiser
A lasagna dinner fundraiser is Saturday June 9, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Gary's Chuck wagon, S. Second St., West Newton. It includes lasagna, salad, dessert, and drink. Cost is $11. You can purchase your tickets at Gary's or by contacting the church 724-872-7467. Proceeds benefit the mission team going to Gamerco, New Mexico, where they will host a Vacation Bible School for the Navaho children. Donations are also accepted. Checks can be made out to the West Newton First Church of God. You can donate to a specific person - just put their name on the memo line - or make a general donation by putting Southwest VBS on the memo line. Mail your donation to First Church of God, 157 N.
