The First United Methodist Church of Monongahela welcomes you to come join us for a variety of activities.
Friday Night Praise will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, December 1.
Jeff Vanderhoff, magician will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 2. Jeff uses magic tricks and psychological puzzles to amuse as well as to uplift and inspire. His show combines a blend of magic and comedy that appeals to audiences of all ages. He has been performing magic for over 25 years.
Hanging of the Greens & Advent Dinner will be held starting at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday, December 3.
Family Movie Night featuring “The Case for Christ” is at 7 p.m. on Friday, December 8. The Case for Christ is about an investigative journalist and self-proclaimed atheist who sets out to disprove the existence of God after his wife becomes a Christian.
Jim Sykes Organ Concert will be held at 7 p.m. on Sunday, December 17 featuring Jim playing Advent and Christmas music on our Allen Organ.
Christmas Eve Candlelight & Communion Worship will be held at 7 p.m. on Sunday, December 24.
5th Sunday Luncheon will be held after worship on Sunday, December 31.
During December and January, Sunday school for all ages will be at 9 a.m. on Sundays followed by a combined worship service at 10:15 a.m.
Small Groups continue to meet on Sunday evenings at 6 p.m.
The Youth Fellowship meets on Sundays from 6:30 - 8 p.m.
The United Methodist Women meet at 6:30 p.m. on the second Thursday with a mission project night at 6:30 p.m. on the last Tuesday.
If you are looking for hands-on ways to be in ministry come, join our Card Ministry team on the first and third Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. or get involved in the Food Bank Ministry.
