Religion

The First United Methodist Church of Monongahela,  430 West Main Street, Monongahela, has a full schedule in the month of September.

The family movie night featuring “Woodlawn” is at 7 p.m. on Friday, September 9.  “A gifted high school football player must learn to embrace his talent and his faith as he battles racial tensions on and off the field.” 

The Spaghetti & Meatballs Dinner with bread, salad bar, dessert, and beverage is from 3-6:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 17. 

The church picnic will be held on Sunday, September 11 at Jumonville beginning at 1 p.m. 

Small groups continue to meet on Sunday evenings at 6 p.m. 

The Youth Fellowship will meet weekly beginning Sunday, September 18 from 6:30-8 p.m. 

The United Methodist Women meet at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 8 with a Mission Project night at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 27. 

A sewing class meets at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 24. 

The fall pastor’s study will be at 7-8:30 p.m. on Wednesdays beginning on September 14.  The fall study will be led by Pastor Alan based on two books: “Leading Beyond the Walls” and “Walking with Nehemiah.”
