The borough of New Eagle has begun some of its warm weather projects and will soon begin paving work, New Eagle Council members indicated at the May 3 monthly meeting.
Projects include catch basin repairs, landscaping, equipment maintenance, and the installation of a new air conditioner at the borough building.
The borough will also begin citing residents for grass and junk vehicle ordinance violations.
In other business:
Council appointed Ed Volker, Paul Pro, and Robert Gamble to the International Property Maintenance Code.
Council passed an ordinance allowing the borough to vacate a portion of South Union Avenue, as requested by residents Steve and Linda Levandosky. Associated fees have been paid by the residents
