At the brief February 2 monthly meeting, New Eagle Borough Council commended the road crew for the great job they have been doing keeping the roads clear, especially during the January snowstorm. Council members said that many people have called the New Eagle crew the best in the Mon Valley.
In other business, Council approved the purchase of a new computer for the borough office at a cost not to exceed $2,000. Also approved was the purchase of a new window air conditioner for the borough building, at a price not to exceed $600, including any necessary electrical work.
