Municipal News

Forward Township supervisors have approved resolution 2015-1 to reduce the real estate tax millage rate from 2.05 to 1.95 for 2015.

Forward Township continues to have one of the lowest tax millage rates in Allegheny County! The township has also agreed to continue to participate in the Senior Tax Relief Program, which will give qualifying residents a 10% reduction on their township tax. Forward Township Supervisors DeRosa, Magiske and Skrinjorich are dedicated to helping ease the tax burden of the residents.

Forward Township will also be using a new tax billing statement format; it is a much easier statement to read and understand.

If you have questions regarding your tax bill statement, please don't hesitate to call the tax office at 412 384-2321.
