Census 2020 – Please Be Counted!
April 1, 2020 is Census Day. The Rostraver Township Board of Commissioners encourages all Township residents to make sure they take part in the census and be counted. Your participation in the census is critical on making sure our community receives our fair share of federal funding and having a voice in Congress. For every family of five that is not counted in the Census, it is estimated that Westmoreland County loses roughly $100,000 in federal funding. Protecting your privacy and keeping data secure are important to the federal government. Census answers cannot be used against an individual. It also doesn’t matter what your citizenship status is, how old you are, or your gender. If you live here, you matter to the census and Rostraver Township. For the first time in history, you will be able to respond online as well as by mail or phone. More information on the census can be found under announcements and www.rostraver.us.
