During the summer course, Ms. Fiedor will study a programming language called Ruby and learn how to create an app. The Kode With Klossy curriculum, powered by the learn.com platform, is designed to be fun, hands-on and collaborative. Through teamwork and creativity, each student will learn how to use code to build a web app that expresses her personal passions.

Last year was the launch of this scholarship and over 600 videos and applications were received with 20 scholarships awarded. To apply, applicants uploaded a 60-second video to YouTube with the hashtag #KodeWithKlossy explaining how they would plan to use coding superpowers to change the world.
