Julianna Jones, daughter of Melissa and Kevin Jones of Forward Township, was crowned USA National Miss Northern States Teen 2016. She is a junior and high honors student at Elizabeth Forward High School.

She is very involved in her school, participating in many clubs and sports. Her sports teams include golf, cross country, track, and soccer. She is a president of SADD, vice president of Interact, secretary of Student Government, secretary of Coding Club, and secretary of Technology Student Association.
Julianna is also involved in TFIM, BRAVE Bunch, Mock Trials and has been on the planning committee for Relay for Life of Mon Valley for three years. Her hobbies include dance, skiing, and paddle boarding.
She is interested in pursuing a career in industrial engineering to enhance the world we live in. Julianna is an advocate for safe driving and wants to raise awareness in our community about the dangers of distracted driving, especially in teens.
Julianna will travel this July to Boca Raton Florida to compete for the USA National Miss Teen title.
