Luke George Tobin is the first baby of the new year at St. Clair Hospital, born at 9:01 a.m. on Friday, January 1, 2016 and weighing 7 lbs., 2 oz. and measuring 19.5 inches in length.

His parents are Tina Hoak and Nicholas Tobin of Elizabeth, PA.

Luke has two siblings, Ashley Hoak and Jason Hoak, both of whom were also born at St. Clair Hospital.

Luke was delivered by obstetrician Robert C. Rankin, M.D., who practices with South Hills OB/GYN Associates, Inc.

The nurses in the Family Birth Center at St. Clair Hospital awarded Luke and his parents for having the first baby born at St. Clair Hospital in 2016 with a gift bag full of baby items, including onesies and blankets.
