Local Girl Scout Dani Bagnell Recognized for Taking Action in Reporting Fire

Girl Scout Dani Bagnell was with her Girl Scout troop passing out cookies when she noticed something out of the ordinary – a fire was burning in the ceiling of the Hackett Club in Finleyville and she knew she had to do something right away.

Dani, 11 years old, reported her discovery to an adult, who then notified the proper authorities. Dani, a student in the Bethel Park school district, received a plaque from the Peters Twp. Fire Dept. for her bravery and quick thinking.
