Jared L. Kramer, of Monongahela, PA, is the recipient of a merit scholarship from the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg. This scholarship is renewable for the next four years, providing the student meets the scholarship criteria. Pitt-Greensburg offers $1.5 million in scholarships annually to incoming freshmen students.

Kramer has been accepted as a member of the 2015 freshman class and plans to begin studies toward a degree in athletic training/physical therapy. The son of Patrick and Donna Kramer, Kramer graduated in June from Ringgold High School where he was a member of the varsity hockey team and served as alternate captain. He also was a member of the Ringgold High School Band, Indoor Drum Line, and the Ski Club.
