Ryan Beveridge, a Finleyville resident and a recent graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, was awarded a $1,000 scholarship by the West Virginia Wholesalers Association (WVWA).

“As an association representing West Virginians, we are extremely pleased to be in a position to help support our members, employees and their families in furthering their education,” said Jan Vineyard, Executive Director of the WVWA. “Ryan is a great student, athlete, and community volunteer and we wish him the best of luck in his education and in his future endeavors.”
Beveridge will attend Penn State Greater Allegheny College in the fall. While at Thomas Jefferson High School, he was active in the National Honor Society and the French National Honor Society. He was also the sports editor for the school newspaper and was assistant captain of the varsity ice hockey team.
Beveridge’s father, Randal Beveridge is an employee at Liberty USA, a full line distribution company that services convenience stores.
The WVWA scholarship is open to any full-time employees or the children of employees of Class A Wholesale Members within the association’s membership who is a high school senior and has been accepted for admission or a full-time student at a college or university.
