On Saturday, February 21st, family members and friends of Joanne Funtal gathered in Finley Hall of St. Francis of Assisi Parish for a surprise birthday party.

Joanne is now 79 years young. The party was planned in secrecy, and Joanne certainly looked surprised when she entered Finley Hall and saw all the guests.
The party-goers enjoyed a lunch followed by a slice of Joanne's birthday cake and the companionship of friends and relatives. A happy birthday goes out to Joanne, who still lives on Garvin Road in Union Township.
