The Mon Valley YMCA would like to give a huge thank you to Camille Smolucha for painting the full-length mural in the indoor pool area.

Camille and her mural

Camille graduated from Tom Savini's Special Effects Program, offered through the Douglas Education Center in Monessen, with a 16-month degree in specialized business in December.

Camille is from Nashville, Tennessee and hopes to move to a big city and work on movie sets and in special effects shops. She started at the YMCA in October 2013 as a lifeguard and swim instructor before she mentioned her artistic talent.

The YMCA would like to wish Camille the best of luck in her bright future and thank her for brightening up the Mon Valley YMCA swimming pool.
