David McWilliams, a 2014 graduate of the Mon Valley Career & Technology Center, earned the distinction of top bricklaying student in Pennsylvania at the SkillsUSA State Conference in Hershey, PA in April.

He traveled to Kansas City, MO on June 23 to represent Pennsylvania at the SkillsUSA National Conference. Competitors included students from around the country as well as Guam, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. As a Bentworth High School student, David attended Mr. Jeffrey Yanits' masonry class for three years.
