Local People


Daniel Bednarczyk and Leah Seader have been awarded the 2013 Mon Valley Community Federal Credit Union Memorial Scholarships. Each scholarship is valued at $2,000.

Daniel is the son of Paul and Mary Bednarczyk of Fayette City and is a graduate of Belle Vernon Area High School where he was an honor student. Daniel was deeply involved in academics and extracurricular activities while attending BVA. He will attend the University of Pittsburgh and study Electrical Engineering.

Leah Seader, valedictorian of Bethlehem Center High School Class of 2013, will attend California University of Pennsylvania where she will begin her pursuit of an engineering degree. Leah was the recipient of many academic and community service awards. She is the daughter of Stanley and Linda Seader of Brownsville.
