Hailey Lynn Kotecki and Steve Karan were united in marriage April 6, 2013, in a 2:00 pm ceremony followed by a dinner reception and dancing at Library Sportsmen’s Association in Finleyville.

Seventy guests were in attendance as the couple exchanged personal vows with Rev. Larry Goyda officiating the ceremony. Music was played by DJ Dan Donato of Venetia.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Raymond Kotecki of Finleyville and her mother, Wendy Kotecki of Eighty-Four. The bride’s childhood friend, Michelle Kabo of Canonsburg, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were her friends Brittany Full of Mt. Lebanon and Cathy Rich of South Park. The bride’s grandparents are Mollie and the late Raymond Kotecki of Finleyville, and her late grandparents, Freda and Chuck Stang of Eighty-Four.

The groom’s parents are Penny and the late Rick Romano of Van Voorhis. His grandparents are Virginia and Irving Miller of White Oak. Best man for his brother was Jeff Pastore of Mt. Pleasant. Groomsmen were his brother Ricky Romano of Jacksonville, NC, and friend Shawn Abram of Castle Shannon.

The bride is a graduate of Canon-Mac High School; the groom is a graduate of Charleroi Area High School. The couple’s four sons, Noah 6, Aiden 3, Ethan 2, and Austin 9 months, were cute as buttons in their tuxedos. Flower girls were Addi Full and McKenna Adams.

The newlyweds honeymooned at Sheraton Station Square in Pittsburgh and make their home in Finleyville.
