CPR for Family and Friends
Tuesday evening, December 8
6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
This course, taught by the Jefferson Hills Area Ambulance Service EMTs and paramedics, is intended for the general public to learn the basic steps necessary to perform hands only CPR. This class includes hands-on practice. Please note that completion of this seminar does not result in receipt of an AHA course completion card. This is a non-credentialed course for the general public. Please register.
South Hills Art League to Exhibit at Jefferson Hills Library
December 2 – December 31
The South Hills Art League will exhibit approximately 75 pieces of artwork in various mediums at the Borough of Jefferson Hills Municipal Center, second floor, during regular library hours. Most of the pieces will be available for sale.
YOGA – Beginners and Intermediate
Wednesday evenings, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. - December 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
Saturday mornings, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. - December 5, 12, 19
Instructor: Linda Frost
Continue to learn the basics and advantages of YOGA exercise. This class is for the
beginner or intermediate YOGA student. Bring a mat to class.
Tuition is $5 per session or $7 if you attend both weekly sessions.
Children's Story Time for Ages 3 and up
Thursdays, 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. and 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. - December 3 and 10
December 3 - “One World Many Stories” - Come to story time as we celebrate holidays in different countries. Holiday stories, an ethnic craft and a yummy treat will be provided.
December 10 - Holiday Party - Stories, games, a craft and treat will be part of our festivities.
American Girl Doll Program - “Meet Samantha”
Tuesday, December 8, 5:30-6 :30 p.m. K-5th Grade Come to this special event and make a beautiful Victorian book mark from pressed flowers and enjoy a simple tea. Any student planning to attend this program should register. You do not have to own an American Girl doll to take part in this program.
