Library News

The Donora Public Library has welcomed a new director. Mark Bizzell Boyer is a Donora native who has returned to his hometown after more than 30 years in North Carolina.

Mark is a former public information officer and media production coordinator for New Hanover County, NC. He also has a long background in radio news reporting and anchoring. He is a graduate of Edinboro State University.

He promises to bring a high level of customer service to library patrons and the community at large. Among his goals is to increase the number of events and programs offered to residents of Donora and Carroll Township. He is also committed to strengthening the library's contribution to the education of Donora's youth and to help form new partnerships with other agencies and organizations.

Come and experience some of the new offerings at the Donora Public Library.
