Dr. Thomas Soltis, from Westmoreland County Community College, will present a program titled “The 1918 Flu Pandemic Invades Westmoreland County” on Saturday, September 16, at 1 p.m.
at Monessen Public Library & Cultural Center. He will discuss the arrival, spread, and impact of the 1918 influenza pandemic in Westmoreland County.
