The following events were announced for the Scott Township Public Library.
MYSTERY IN THE LIBRARY, Grades K-5
Wednesday, July 5, 6 p.m. – 7 p.m.
There’s been a crime in the library, and we need your help to solve it! Examine the crime scene, collect clues, and help us figure out whodunit. Register at www.scottlibrary.org, Calendar of Events or in the library.
FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY (FoL) BOOK SORT, Volunteers
Friday, July 14, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
The Friends of the Scott Township Public Library request your assistance sorting books and materials for the 2017 October Book Sale. Sorts will be held the second Friday of each month in the small meeting room. Thank you!
FAMILY TRIVIA NIGHT, Families with children of all ages
Wednesday, July 19, 6 p.m. – 7 p.m.
We will cover a variety of topics, and we will be giving away lots of prizes! Register at www.scottlibrary.org, Calendar of Events or in the library.
BOOK DISCUSSION, Adults
Thursday, July 20, 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
All are adults invited whether or not you have read the book. This month’s selection is any recent or old classic.
FAMILY FORT NIGHT AFTER HOURS, Families with children of all ages
Friday, July 21, 6 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Bring your family (and your blankets) and build your best fort in the library. Read, play games, take a nap - it’s up to you.
CRAFTERNOON, Grades 3-5
Tuesday, July 25, 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Stop in any time during the afternoon to try out different YouTube crafts! Experiment with duct tape, make buttons to wear, or decorate a mug.
