A visit by Animal Rescue League Shelter & Wildlife Center's humane and environmental educator Gilda Arroyo and Murphy, a 3-year-old striped skunk, proved to be a very popular day in the Jefferson Hills Library Summer Reading Program.
The Summer Reading Program was held from June 1 through July 25 and was called "Dig Into Reading." The program focused on themes relating to natures "diggers" including the skunk, and dinosaurs, fossils and gardening. The program ended on July 25 with a Dinosaur Party.
