Kids & Family

  
Beginning Tuesday , June 25 at Crest Park and Thursday, June 27 at Woodland Park there will be exciting games and activities for all area kids ages 4-12.  Almost every week following there will be park events on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There will be a schedule posted on Facebook (Charleroi Borough), in the newspaper, online at www.charleroiborough.org , and at the borough office.  
 
Every day will consist of team games, partner games, and individual games/activities. Team games include things such as kickball, whiffle ball, or basketball. Partner games will include balloon toss, scavenger hunt, races, etc. The day will end with the kids making various arts and crafts or planting, watering, and feeding their plant. There will be a lot of kids and a lot of fun to be had all summer long. There will be drinks provided and sprinklers to cool off in.
 
In addition to these two days a week of fun there will also be two movie nights a month for everybody to enjoy.
