It's time to "saddle up horses" and "rev up" the go-karts at Shekinah Western Ranch Camp. Shekinah Ranch kicks off their 11th season with a Fun Fest on Saturday, June 8 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It's free for everyone! Activities include horse rides, climbing wall, zip-line, miniature golf, wagon rides, face painting, petting zoo and so much more. The camp season officially begins on Sunday, June 9 with week-long Overnight Camps and Day Camps.
Founder and Director Rev. Tom Ravasio states that one of his favorite stories from parents about the Day Camps is, "As the parent drives off the campground with their child they hear the most imaginative stories about their child's experiences at camp and within a few miles find the child sound asleep for the remainder of the drive home. When the child awakes the next morning they are 'biting at the bit' to get out the door and return to Shekinah Ranch."
Ravasio's vision for youth to Encounter God and Experience Horses has had an impact on hundreds and hundreds of youth over the past 10 years. This year Shekinah Ranch kicks off a brand new ministry known as the Revelation 19:11 Discipleship Project. It is designed for teens who desire to deepen their Christian experience and learn firsthand the power of camp ministry. It is a 5 week program where the students will stay on the campground and become a part of the overall ministry operation.
