HRCDC Gardening Workshops

Highland Ridge Community Development Corporation (HRCDC) is offering a series of free gardening ‘how-to’ workshops available through November. Workshops will be conducted at the Highland Ridge Neighborhood Garden near corner of 6th and Forrest Avenues in Washington.
 
Garden Workshops will be held the 2nd Saturday of the month from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. The dates and topics for the upcoming workshops are as follows:
 
September 14: Fall planting (cold weather, garlic)
October 12: Pumpkin Sale
November 9: Birdhouse gourds (harvest/prep)
 
Other topics/workshops to be scheduled: Hydroponics, Cold-frame, Herbicides and Pesticides. Registration is required by emailing hr@highlandridgecdc.org or call Sue Ward at 412-217-9364.
