Canonsburg Hospital, part of Allegheny Health Network, has added neurosurgeon Nestor Tomycz, M.D., to its medical staff.

Dr. Nestor Tomycz

Dr. Tomycz graduated summa cum laude from Harvard College and earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School. He completed a general surgery internship and neurosurgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center as well as an inter-residency fellowship in stereotactic and functional neurosurgery at Allegheny General Hospital.

Board-eligible in Neurological Surgery, Dr. Tomycz treats back and neck pain, brain cancer, spine conditions and movement disorders such as Parkinson's disease, essential tremor and dystonia. He has special interest in deep brain stimulation, chronic pain, brain and spine trauma and epilepsy.
