Wellness of the spirit, mind and body is the mission of the Franciscan Spirit and Life Center, which recently announced their schedule for summer Tai Chi classes. Beginning on June 17, the Center will host Tai Chi classes on Monday evenings and Wednesday afternoons for both beginners and continuing students. Each class is taught by certified Tai Chi instructor and movement analyst Gurney Bolster, MA, DTR.
Monday evening classes are offered from June 17 – August 12. Monday classes for those experienced in Tai Chi are 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm; and introductory classes are 7:15 pm– 8:15 pm. The cost is $60 for eight classes.
Wednesday afternoon classes are offered from June 19– August 14. Wednesday classes for those experienced in Tai Chi are 2:12 pm – 3:15 pm; and introductory classes are 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm. The cost is $60 for eight classes.
