After teaching classes in gyms, schools, churches, libraries, Autumn Timko “just wanted a place to call home.” She opened Yogastyle in November of 2011 on Second Avenue in Elizabeth. Since November, Yogastyle has been offering many different classes, as well as being active in their community. They have and will continue to host specialty workshops like Bellydancing Lessons & Yin Yoga, as well as health/wellness gatherings that are open to all.
Besides the workshops, check out the Yogastyle website (www.yogastylestudio.com) for schedule and detailed information on all their regular classes which include a Foundations class, a Kids Fun Flow class, a BellyFit and others. No matter the class, Timko invites questions throughout, so students will develop good habits from the start. There is a Flow (Vinyasa) style class for students familiar with the poses. It offers layers of difficulty for the yogis to challenge themselves at their own pace. Yogastyle offers classes for everybody!
Timko received her RYT 200 (a 200 hour training) through the school of Yogafit, that boasts user-friendly yoga.
“Most of my students tell me they come in nervous because they don't know anything but, immediately feel reassured. . .our studio is more than a place to work on the body... it's a little community of great people,” said Timko. Be sure to follow them on facebook, as Yogastyle Studio or call 412-651-5696. You can also e-mail: autumn@yogastylestudio.com
