Monongahela Valley Hospital’s Edward M. Stafford, M.D., an otolaryngologist or ear, nose and throat surgeon, with Washington ENT, was elected to serve as president of the Washington County Medical Society in January. He has served as president-elect for the past year.
Dr. Stafford practices comprehensive otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at offices in Carroll Twp. and in Washington.
He is a 2002 graduate of Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. He completed residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery in 2007 at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in New York City. Following this, he completed a fellowship in advanced head and neck surgical oncology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.
Dr. Stafford also serves as a volunteer physician with Catholic Charities of Pittsburgh and is the author of several peer-reviewed manuscripts and invited book chapters on the topic of head and neck cancer. He resides in Pittsburgh.
